where: across the parking lot from houston's & down the street from my very own personal cupcake heaven, sprinkles.
the deal: i'll be honest... i had a little cleavage kickin' this evening, and i could not have possibly been more uncomfortable. everywhere i looked i had late thirty-somethings throwing me the evil highland park eye, while ensuring their husbands weren't throwing me the same, just with much dirtier thoughts.
the eats: the devilled eggs rocked, and the asian chicken salad rocked even harder. the food at this place i thought was quite good, and the $12 lemondrop martini was almost worth the year of schooling for a child in ethiopia that it could have paid for instead. while the atmosphere is token HP faux-urban chic, the architecture of this building still has it's own unique flair and the vast seating at the bar itself is quite impressive.
